Managing work and study with an eye on the future

Managing boundaries between roles is critical for healthy functioning and performance. However, little research has examined how working students manage their study work. The current combined boundary management future-self constructs to examine the salience of undergraduate students’ future-selves influence this on roles. Using a mixed-methods approach, interview questionnaire data from 20 in Australia (15 women, 5 men; aged 18 28 years) were integrated analysed. results indicated that thought often about linked thinking roles, particularly through implementation strategies. Theoretical practical implications are discussed, with aim advancing knowledge assist managing multiple while at university.
